Drea King’s penchant for captivating her audience first emerged when she was just a young girl in a tiny tutu.  Her rendition of ‘the ugly duckling’ in one of her first ballet recitals was so profound, her fellow ballerina chickadees couldn’t tear themselves away from the stage during her solo.

Drea has since strengthened her reputation as a mesmerizing performer, and somewhat of a roving troubadour, in productions for both stage and screen across North America and the UK.  From her first major theatre roles in Toronto, Canada – Shelby in ‘Steel Magnolias’, and Mona Then in ‘Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Come Back to the Five and Dime’ – to several leading roles in films such as ‘Anaphylaxis’, and ‘A New Design’, her credits continue to grow. Her films have been screened at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, Sarasota Florida, Bahamas International, Sacramento California, and Victoria BC Film Festivals.

Drea trained at The Actor’s Temple in the UK, under the tutelage of Tom Radcliffe, a student of world-renowned acting coach Sanford Meisner. Always dedicated to nurturing her talent, she studied ballet with Judith Coleman of the Royal Academy of Dance, Shakespeare at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts, and On-Camera Training at VADA with additional training in voiceover, dialect, and screenwriting. She also produced the short film "Shadows", Directed by Cristina Escoda.

Drea speaks French fluently and is continuing to perfect her Spanish. She currently divides her time between LA and Vancouver and is eligible to work in the USA, UK and Canada.

"Loved working with Drea - great look, great voice, great range."
